The MGBI bankruptcy list is used in day-to-day operations not only by debt collection agencies and debt management companies.
The features it offers are also useful for debt collection agencies, as Karol Dobek—the creator of the Efektivo program—explained to us.
What exactly does your company do?
Efektivo develops software for court-appointed bailiffs. Our software automates processes in bailiff offices. One of the features we offer in partnership with MGBI is an automated, daily check for debtor bankruptcies
How does Efektivo use the data provided by MGBI?
We do not directly use the data provided by MGBI. MGBI provides an API that our clients—court-appointed bailiffs—use. Bailiffs utilize the data in two ways.
First, they verify whether the debtor information provided by the creditor pertains to debtors who are in bankruptcy proceedings (both individuals and legal entities).
Another approach is to check daily whether debtors have filed for bankruptcy. Thanks to this verification, the law firm is able to conduct enforcement proceedings in accordance with applicable laws.
The main benefit is the automation of the process. The bailiff can be sure that they have up-to-date information on debtors during the enforcement process. Our software automatically checks all debtors in the database for bankruptcy status overnight.
In addition to generating a report sent via email, the Efektywny Komornik program also checks the appropriate boxes in the bailiff’s application and makes the necessary annotations.
